Delta Chi National History
Delta Chi was founded on October 13, 1890, at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Our fraternity has a rich tradition of brotherhood, scholarship, and service that spans over 130 years.
Foundation at Cornell
Delta Chi was founded by eleven men at Cornell University who shared a vision of promoting friendship, developing character, advancing justice, and assisting in the acquisition of a sound education.
National Expansion
The fraternity began its national expansion, establishing chapters across the United States at leading universities and colleges.
Modern Brotherhood
Delta Chi continues to thrive with over 100 active chapters and thousands of alumni worldwide, maintaining our commitment to our founding principles.
